well there are a few cards here that don't fit into extended, but it seems like a very fun deck.

it's funny deathtyrant5000 that you have the [Lich's Tomb] + [Death's Shadow] combo because my friends and i were just talking about it last night lol. i really like the [Crucible of Worlds] mix with that combo, but i was wondering what if this land screws you over? try to see if you can fit in [Nether Traitor] or [Bloodghast].

btw deathtyrant5000, what do you think i can do better on my Artifact (Standard, Feb 2010) deck? anyone else have any ideas either???

Hey Morkeleb, you know who I am btw :P I was looking at making a soldier deck, and I came across this ability:

Banding (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding you control are blocking or being blocked by a creature, you divide that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)

There are some white, soldier creatures with banding as well as some awesome cards that mix with banding such as an Baton of Morale/Helm of Chatzuk with Urza's Engine combo. Benalish Commander, Captain of the Watch, Darien, King of Kjeldor, and Field Marshal are sweet white soldier cards as well.

I like this idea; it's an original strategy to me. Try this out and tell me how it works!

First thing's first... I cannot f***ing stand Path to Exile! lol it is an excellent card though.

Anyway, this deck's solid, but you also might want to look into Overrun. Then again, you have Garruk Wildspeaker so it might be redundant :P Stomp away!

This is a sweet deck! One thing I came across was the card Gilder Bairn which works great with planeswalkers (loyalty counters) as well as other cards that use counters.

With Gilder Bairn, you could play Tezzeret the Seeker, double the loyalty counters (+4) and still be able to use one of the planeswalker's abilities.

Not sure if Gilder Bairn really fits into your deck, but I think it could be a cool combo with your Arcbound Ravager or other artifacts as well (Clockwork Hydra etc.).
