Deck Description

This is the token deck I use, and I do love it when I tell my friend that I have 40 4/4 flying indestructible tokens attacking him. Comment, criticism, suggestions, all welcome.

Deck discussion for Untouchable tokens

Since your using forests, if you want to throw Earthcraft and Squirrel's Nest in there they let you get infinite creatures. (earthcraft lets you untap all your mana when a creature comes into play and squirrel's nest let's you enchant a land to tap and put a 1/1 squirrel into play thus giving you infinite creatures when used together.) Conqueror's Pledge will work great in combination with the Nomads Assembly you have. Also if your a metalhead like I am check out www.unsigned.com/infamysdescent

Thanks for your input, an infinite creature combo would be great, but since I don't own any of ether of those cards I would have to buy them single, and (at least where I go for singles) 4 squirrel's nests and 4 earthcrafts would be about $43, and I only play casual so I'd rather not spend that much on only 8 cards. I'm not sure about conqueror's pledge, I already have 1, so if I get another or two I might try it out. As for the metal stuff, I checked it out and it's just not my type of metal. Thanks for your help though.

eldrazi spawn token are useless on their own. put in 4 eldrazi broodmasters or whatever they are called. i am currently creating an anti token defense force deck for monday.

The reason I use eldrazi spawn tokens is there good for twilight drover and Selesnya Evangel also they help for playing stuff. And plus what do you think I'd take out for broodwarden?

The current problem with this deck right now is that it's just too slow, and you're trying to do too much at once. If you want it to go faster, put in some llanoward elves and/or arbor elfs. Along with that, you gotta think about what you mainly want to do. Right now your deck is making birds, spawns, saprolings, spirits, etc. That's too much "clutter".

Instead, perhaps you should just rock the spawns. Try to get your hands on more Awakening Zones, they're not too expensive last I checked. Then get some Broodwardens, more nest invaders (I think you're 1 short of 4), and some Growth Spasms. Then toss out everything else you've got in here except maybe the Mycoloths, those are pretty sweet. The Leyline's are nice too, so keep them in if you can't get your hands on anything else.

So if you made those changes you should be running a mono-green eldrazi horde deck (with the all-mighty Mycoloth). That's pretty awesome. However! Were you to add in red, you could also have cards like Raid Bombardment (a common that can be found all over the place), Goblin Bushwhacker (Also an easy find common), and even something like fireball or Comet Storm (if you're willing to buy them) to use as a finisher!

You could also add in white and have some fun lifegain tricks. You could add in Soul/Essence warden along with Soul's Attendant to get a bunch of "gain 1 life" triggers. Why is that good? Because you can also add in Ajani's Pridemate and make them massive!

I do agree that it's a little too slow. and I might try to add some of the Llanowar Elves. But actually I'm trying to get rid of the spawns. I am trying to get more wardens. But really I don't care what type of tokens they are, all I care is that this deck barfs them out. and I might add some Sprout Swarms, and just try to make it into a saproling/life gain deck. then in that case I'll probably add some Mycologist

you could go the route i did and add gemhide sliver in place of llanowar elves. or throw in doubling season

Thanks! Llanowar elves seems to do the job for me. And I agree about doubling seasons, but they cost about $20.00 I only play casual, so I'd rather not spend $80.00 on 4 cards, I also still have the problem of finding 4 eldrazi monuments! Though if I get my hands on any doubling seasons they will be going in here.

Do you think I should add 2 Khalni Hydras just for lulz?

well to start off i would revise your landbase

I would drop 4 sanctuaries and replace them with sunpetal groves and if this doesnt have to be standard i would put in windswept hearth

also i would drop the sanctitys all together along with one monument and add 1 more soul warden and 2 khlani hydras

hope this helps!

Perhaps a Verdant Force or 2 would work well. Especially if you play several players at once. 1 Saproling EACH players upkeep. However, mana cost is high. So something like Natural Order would be very nice (however they are expensive) So you could just use something like Elvish Piper to get big things out for low cost. A Gigantomancer would also wreck with all these tokens. You can make them all 8/8.

I run a similar deck, and I like Llanowar Mentor over Llanowar Elves, just because you're later doubling them with Rhys.
