Deck Description

This is a deck that seeks to take advantage of humans feeding or being sacrificed for the will of the demons. I can use the deaths of my humans to make demon flyers via the high priest, kill creatures via the flayer, or make my demon into a beast mode.

My biggest concern are board wipes, but I figure I will hold onto my hero of bladeholds for such a purpose. I can also save the midnight hauntings for the instant speed replenish and I can also use the disciple of griselbrand to get life and value from the creatures dying. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Deck discussion for feed me human!

I personally feel that spells like Gather the Townsfolk and Increasing Devotion would be more effective than some of the humans you have available to you. I'd get rid of Thalia, the Bonds of Faith, and the Midnight Haunting in favour of the two spells previously mentioned, and to slightly bolster your count of Ravenous Demons.

I tend to agree regarding gather the townsfolk over midnight haunting. A first turn parish and then a 2nd turn gather just seems so strong. I really only had the midnight haunting because of the instant speed and it's ability to replenish the board with at least some blockers following a board wipe (mainly stuff like whip flare or slagstorm that might leave their creatures in tact.)

As for increasing devotion, the cost does deter me a little, but considering that it is 5 mana and could come immediately after a total board wipe, I think you may be right. I appreciate the advice.

i like one geist-honored monk or a requiem angel in there in place of one hero of blade and one greed demon. Geist-honored monk offers a big creature threat, and if removed you still get a good bit of value from the two spirits. And requiem angel is just great to have out to protect against board wipes. (kill all my guys...ive got that many spirit tokens now...)They basically need back to back whipflares/slag storms.
