This deck was inspired by Deadguy Ale and Stoneblade decks, both of wich are among my favourite archetypes. Deck takes advantage of Stoneforge Mystic and Dark Confidant in order to get card and board advantage. It also relies on generating larger amounts of tokens with Lingering Souls, Sorin, Hero of Bladehold and Elspeth. Discard keeps your opponent at bay in early game but if any of the pesky creatures should come out, Swords to Plowshares, Gatekeepers or Vindicates should take care of it. Liliana serves as both, creature removal and hand disruption. Mana acceleration is here in form of Chrome Mox. I've also added four copies of Deathrite Shaman, which can also provide additional mana and pose a threat at the same time. Not only that, it can be useful again graveyard based decks (Reanimator, Dredge and even Tarmogoyf based decks). This deck should be suitable for competative tournament enviroment. Sideboard should be modified for local metagame though.
The best way to play this deck is to disrupt you opponent's hand on turn one or two and then proceede to play threats, either Stoneforge Mystic, one of the Planeswalkers or Mirran Crusader/Hero of the Bladehold. Lingering Souls provide chump blockers aswell as swarming threat which can also be equipped with artifacts fetched with Stoneforge Mystic. Chrome Mox also alows us to play two turn drops on first turn which can sometimes provide a massive advantage (1st turn Hymn/Confidant/Stoneforge is no small feat). Deathrite Shaman on the other hand is a great 1st turn drop that can help you get play any of the planeswalkers or other threats earlier than usual. It can also keep you alive with it's life gain ability or destroy your opponent by removing sorceries and instants. It also proves useful against Tarmogoys and graveyard based decks.
