The point is to make kiln fiend extremely powerful attack unblockable with distortion strike then fling for the win. Or stall using stormtide leviathan then fling a powerful kiln fiend.

Hmm, this is different. I like where you're goin' w/ this. But the only thing I'd recommend doing is speeding it up. Realistically you're just slowin' yourself down w/ Scalding Tarn by 4 rounds & no need to do that, especially if you're damaging yourself. This is only a bi-color deck, so Scalding would be better suited for a deck w/ more colors than that. Up your Islands to 12x & Mountains to 8x. I think you'll be impressed with how it performs after that. I've often used 12x/8x combo on bi-color decks, 12 leaning towards the color that is more pre-dominant. Other than that I got nothin' boss. This is a nice little deck. Good job. I give ya' 8.5 on this guy!

I like having the scalding tarns in the deck because it gives me some flexiblity, allowing me to adapt to different situation, letting me decide if i need a moutain or an island.
I would Redirect the lightning bolt to make a Distortion Strike allowing the Storm Tide Leviathan to take a Mana Leak... I think that would release the pressure to win with this deck.....JK...6.75
