Deck Description

My fiance has an Eldrazi deck that happens to have 1 Butcher in it. He killed me by sac'ing all his spawns and forcing me to empty my field. I thought it would be a fun tactic to build a deck around. Thoughts? Any tips on what I could use besides Vampiric tutor?

How to Play

Create a ton of spawn tokens, get out a Butcher or Grave Pact, sac the spawns to clear the opponents field. Then swing away.

Grave Pact or Butcher

Running 8 Pacts (Grave Pact; Butcher of Malakir; or Dictate of Erebos) almost guarantees you have at least one by the time you have enough mana to play it. So a tutor isn't really necessary.

What you need is a sacrifice outlet. Thoughtpicker Witch is a personal favourite, but it requires mana to use its ability, so Viscera Seer and Bloodthrone Vampire might be better.

Hm. Yes... I was intending to sac the spawns mostly, but it would be good to have a backup plan. Thanks!

The two sacrifice outlets I suggested have different roles. Viscera Seer allows you to scry into what you need, while Bloodthrone Vampire is a big beat stick.
