Deck Description

random esper mill deck, tell me what u think pls,and need advices cuz i never made a mill deck and dunno many good cards for it.I'll prolly replace counterspells to make it a modern deck...
{---cards in side are not the side but just a few cards i had considered but decided to discard.---} <--OLD
-Updated the deck (thx to Boringbloke 4 the help),now it has a sideboard (still need to add cards to deal with artifacts and encanchements) and swapped in some crabs. The cards that i had considered but then discarded are: Szadek,Lord of Secrets; Cryptic Command; Nemesis of Reason.
-Should i add some fetches to make crab work faster or they would dmg me too much? considering i'll prolly pay life for surgical extraction if i play against aggro decks. Pls help me get the deck better:)

Deck discussion for esper mill(may need help)

Not bad at all, especially if it is your first mill. I would highly recommend using hedron's crabs, though. They are up there with the best mill cards ever, in my opinion. It looks like you have a decent amount of control and creature removal spells. Slot some anti-enchant/artifact spells for your sideboard, and you should strongly consider picking up some leylines of the void. There are just too many reanimate / gy based decks out there to not have a means of dealing with graveyards built in.

To squeeze in the recommended cards, consider dropping archive trap to 2 or 3 copies, and replacing the ponders. There is a land that does similar to ponder - i forget the name, but it gives blue mana and allows you to reorder the top 3 of your library when played. Only drawback is that it comes into play tapped. Similarly, you might consider some Bojuka Bogs for your sideboard (swamp, comes in tapped, exiles target graveyard when it enters play).

Forgot to mention (and im not sure how to edit) that you may consider moving surgical extractions to yr sideboard in favor of straight mill cards as well.

i'll keep the surgical extractions in i think, they are rly awesome and destroy easly a lot of strategies,i'll add something to deal with reanimate, artifacts, enchants ofc, didn't have the time tu build a side when i made this ,but i was thinking to use Haunting Echoes instead of leyline of the void, even if mana cost isn't very good, and i'll add Ghost Quarter to mainboard probably to help trigger traps faster and have a land removal. heldron crab as u said looks awesome and i'll try to add atleast 3 to mainboard,u'll see the deck updated soon:) thx for advices,u helped me a lot

i reconsidered the leylines,Haunting echoes doesn't work well,it is too slow and definitely not a good choice, opponents will reanimate stuff before i can play echoes and then it'll be useless,i'll also add tormod's crypt. Btw it looks like u can't edit previous comments:/
