Main Deck (150 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

It\'s a big deck with a lot of different ways to gain control and win the game (mill or kill). I make heavy use of Soul Foundry and Isochron Scepter but they are not needed to win. Mystical tutors and Enlightened tutors are used as if not restricted (we play them that way) aside from that it should be Type I legal.
The deck is in playtesting phase and is lots of fun to play so far, it does best in multiplayer games because it can start rather slow depending on your opening hand.

Deck discussion for BW Solution

The deck also holds

4xLiliana Vess
1xAjani Goldmane

I'm currently playtesting the deck and it will be under constant update throughout the next few months. The idea is to have multiple strategies and ways to defeat all kinds of decks. Creatures decks are the main focus but I'm also hoping to gain a good edge over burn and mill decks. Heavy counter decks will be problematic.

The large size definitely removes it for contender as a great duel deck. It will be slower, harder to draw exactly what you need against your one opponent...

In multiplayer, though, don't try to play the least bit aggressively. Pass without even playing anything if you think it'll remove the heat from you. Whenever you draw flak from another player, play a card to hose an opponent for him. Then, rise up and beat the last man standing. Fun.

JohnoJace: I understand your reaction but it's a challenge to build and I've been playing 60 card decks for so long now that it is refreshing to build something like this and work at it, test it, work at it again. A guy I know plays a 200 card deck that has lost maybe 5 games out of 300. Ok he plays all the duals and all the fetch and it's way over 2000 euro but the crazy thing is that it works. Even one on one it's hard to beat unless you can win under 4 to 5 turns. And pure aggro is so boring.

What I need is to perfect some sort of draw engine, and for that I should add more blue. I also need a way to reuse my tutors from the graveyard, like all suns dawn. The problem is in such a big deck you need multiple ways to fill your hand with solutions over and over.
If I can do that I will have a deck that is capable of handling just about anything.

Psychic Vortex and Library of Leng are worth mentioning. Ivory Tower with all those cards in hand would be a nice lifegainer. Bringer of the Blue is also an option for card draw, and you dont need to worry about his casting cost with the 1 of each. Getting stuff back, Feldon's Cane, Eternal Witness, and Reclaim. Reclaim is nice on Scepter. Trinisphere would help against both Burn and counterspell deck, even better with a Grid out. Bringer of the Black is another option for tutoring.

I see that you have in Sensei's so my next thought is Counterbalance to help control things. With Lilinana I dont see the need for Debtor's Knell, its huge casting cost isnt worth it. Since you have alot of artis youre counting on, Fabricate comes to mind. Rites of Flourishing is nice, but it helps your opponents. Exploration, Fastbond, and Manabond(with Leng) are better. Ivory Tower I mentioned above would be nice with Lost Dreams. With Haunting in there, Glimpse the Unthinkable is nice.

If you did use Ivory Tower, Phyrexian Arena would help card draw. Gravestorm would too but its BBB casting cost may be a tad difficult. Buried Alive doesnt seem to help you too well unless youre using Liliana's 3rd. Slide it out for another Worldly would be cheaper. Jace Beleren would help you with card draw as well.

wow thanks. I've learned a lot about making a big deck since posting this but your feedback is very useful. I'll probably have another try at a huge deck soon.

another big deck solution is a golgaria deck with big dredgers in it so that you dont run out of cards so for that deck i would recomend 250+ cards

LOVE the Concept and i think it would run great!! i have built a few decks around higher amounts of cards and found it to be Very Effective, but not that many. this is the first deck i have seen one here with that many cards, which kinda inspires me to built it bigger lol. im not a fan of fast aggro play i like to play strategy. im not sure if i can make any suggestion lol, but im pretty sure you will find what you need for it. if you dont mind, could you take a look at some of my decks and possibly comment. Thanks!
