Not a bad deck, here are some of my suggestions. guttersnipe,: I don't know if you have enough spells to make him useful. I would use wild defiance instead Electrickery: this card is good as a sideboard if you're facing tokens, but revenge of the hunted could cover that and give you aggro. Caravan vigil: It's slow to use, unless you have multiples in your hand when a creature dies. that's very restrictive and risky in a aggro deck since you want to win as fast as possible. I would use arbor elf instead to help with mana excel. Those are my suggestions. If you have a moment can you look and comment on my decks? thanks. I don't know if I have enough spells that target creatures for wild defiance
Looks good, I think you should put Chandra, the firebrand in it though
I think that I will put a Chandra in this deck, The early game killing of their creatures and doubling rancor or something like that sounds insane
Why have demonmail Hauberk in this deck, or Trepanation Blade?
I feel like Demonmail Hauberk really could be usefull with strangleroot geist, sacking him off to equip to Ash Zealot who hopefully has rancor then swing 8 trample and 3 with geist. Trepanation blade is mostly just for tample damage, and maybe taking some threats out of their deck that they only have a few of
-2 Hauberk -1/2 Traitorous Instinct, +3/4 Rakdos Cackler/Rakdos Shred-Freak/Flinthoof Boar/Wolfir Avenger. Seriously, a 4cmc equipment is NOT fast aggro and you've left out some of the most aggressive creatures in standard right now. And as much as I like Traitorous Instinct, it's still, sadly, a sorcery and thus a bit on the slow side. Better to have them in the sideboard as a surprise against decks with big creatures (read: Armada Wurm, Drogskol Reaver, etc.). Also, you might want to remove Chandra. She's great in a burn deck, but you really don't have enough targets for her second ability (Rancor isn't one) and her first ability isn't likely to do enough damage by the time she comes out. Switch in more creatures. Remember you want to hit fast and hard as early as possible. ;) Hope this gives you some ideas!
The hauberk is not as bad as you think i can easily equip 90% of the time increases damage immensly. Traitorous instinct is to take their big creatures swing with them, then sac them off re-equipping or just equipping the hauberk chandra is for board wipes or kill of one costs even double traitorous instinct and on turn 4 swing for 11 dmg (8 trample) undead strangle root ash zealot (rancored) and have hauberk on her
I know what the cards do, I'm just saying the same thing could be done faster. But, whatever floats your boat, I wouldn't presume to insist on changes to a non-competitive deck. And I know enough people who play rogue decks (off-the-beaten-path, not the creature type) in FNM that if it works for ya than it works for ya.
I really like this deck, seems strong. There isn't too much I would change.
what would you change?
