Deck Description

I love vampires so I figured why not make a deck based on them I built this deck in real life out of cards I collected and traded for with friends, no cards were individually purchased for this deck. This deck is just like the vampires of legend. It is fast, it is deadly, and as the vampires get blood they get stronger and stronger. Feed on your opponents life points to replenish your own and kill them off fast!

How to Play

This deck is fast! I have gotten my Vampire Nighthawk out on turn 1 with a Dark Ritual 3 times already. Also a good pairing technique is to use your Shadow Alley Denizen's ability to give another target creature intimidate come in handy when trying to build up other Vampires like the Heirs or the Exterminators. All that on top of the fact that the Captains will be giving your other vampires +1/+1 AND first strike really make this deck brutal in its own way.

I would try to reduce the number of cards used in this deck down to 60. I mean no offense, here is a link to a deck-building tutorial that I did on this site, where it's described why you shouldn't play more than 60 cards (and some other deck-building rules): "http://www.mtgvault.com/muktol/decks/how-to-build-a-deck/"
Personally I really don't like "Dark Ritual" in decks that would be modern legal, safe for this card. Legacy decks are a lot faster and deadlier than (most) modern ever can be. I you play only on the kitchen table, or with house rules, it might be OK, but sooner or later most people want to play against someone other than their friends, and this could give problems.

Greetings
Muktol

Thank you for the suggestion! It is just really hard to decide which cards to take out haha. But yes I only play with friends so I think I will keep my Dark Rituals for now and I know if I ever wanted to move up to tournament play I would have to take out a lot of cards from any of my decks. Thank you for your suggestions again!
