I wanted to build a 1 casting singleton rainbow deck. I know the theme greatly limits deck strength but I think it's at least decent considering what it is. maybe it would be a fun format to play? let me know what you think, and if you've built anythin similar share it.

Why don't you try Figure of Destiny? T his is a very interesting deck, but with all the come into play tapped lands, you'll always be a turn behind your opponent, which isn't ideal in a deck full of 1-drops like this. Maybe you should find some other kinds of lands to use. This is a really cool deck though, it looks like a blast to play :)

Gosh. The lands are rather a hindrance as such, but... You could put in amulet of vigor, and that would solve half of your land problem. The other half comes when an opponent decides to play blood moon: All non-basic lands now produce only red mana. You need some basic lands, and land searching cards like evolving wilds etc...On a small note mikaeus will for if you play him for 1 mana. Just a thought. Overall an interesting deck. :). Will have more ideas later. :)
Dude, if you're looking for a 100 card singleton format, go look up EDH/Commander. You'll enjoy, I always do :D All you have to do is pick a general, and remove 1 card from here to put him in. You could keep the 1-drop things as well, it probably wouldn't even be that bad.If you were to make this an edh, I would recommend Cromat.Also, a few key one drops you're missing:+ Sensei's Divining Top+ Lightning Bolt+ Isamaru, Hound of Konda+ Delver of Secrets+ Birds of Paradise+ Deathrite Shaman (maybe?)+ Figure of DestinyAnd probably many others.Anyway, good job ;)
@Kazzong. I've got amulet of vigor in there and magus of the candelabra helps untap land as well, but you're right about needing to fix my mana, it's just hard to get rid of the refuges because the life gain is kinda nice, I'll probably get rid of the others and put some basics in there. thanks.@Baron. Yeah, I've struggled with wanting to go EDH with it, but I really didn't want to break CMC of 1, and I know your general has to be all the colors of your deck. if you know of any way around that let me know. As it stands I have Mikaeus in there as my only legendary creature, as a kind of pseudo-general, which is why isamaru isn't in the deck. Good call on most of the others though, I think I actually have all of those but sensei's diving top, I'll have to make some tough descisions on what to take out though, lol.@Racky. FOD is a great card, and will definitely go in, my poor Kithkin deck will miss him though. You and Kazzong are definitely right about the mana though, it's definitely the biggest flaw in here, thanks for the advice and help.
you are right about the amulet. Can't believe I missed that, Lol... :)The only problem that I see with the magus is that you have to pay 1 mana per land.untapped, so you aren't really getting anymore mana than you already had access to unless you have some of your double mana producing lands.
True, but with nearly half my land producing 2 mana I usually have at least one out there, which automatically makes him worth a tap. Although, I think you might be right, and usually by the time that could even kick-off properly, my problem isn't having enough mana, it's having the right mana. perhaps I should exchange some of the double mana lands with more basics, and a few searches.

Do you actually have this deck, or is it just a design that you thought up?although by the way I really like the doubles that you have, and they make the magus worth using, particularly if you use it to untap another land, cause you get both untapped. so as much as you like the life gain, you might want to think about swapping some of those refuges instead. also, you can also get more uses out them when you put out the doubles because you have to bounce a land. also, if you are worried about life gain you could put in trained caracal. 1/1 life-link for W. or put in the life-link enchant aura. again, only W to play. :) oh, random thought... since you have a decen number of enchantments in here is ethereal armor. enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each enchantment that you control, and has first strike.well, those are my thoughts on the matter. hope they help. :)
Ooh, another card that I just thought of: telepathy. U to play, and your opponents play with hands revealed. Annoying as heck. :)
