Building a deck that challanges the metagame and still will be fun to play with and against.Strong points: as a standard it has answers to all decks but is especially strong against midrange and aggro.Weak points are hexproof. deck (20-80) and reanimator. Although reanimator is more 40-60 matchup.
As you would play any control deck.

Interesting. I have been wanting to try a highlander build. Splash white to help against hexproof (mass removal) and use rest in peace against reanimator. =)

Agree, white or black seems better as splashes UR alone just hasn't got enough against hexproof/Indestructability.
I recommend thragtusk, garruk, primal hunter
Those are green...this deck has no green. Besides, Thragtusk is weak and Garruk is to easily dealt with. It would do absolutely nothing for this deck besides increase the probability of failure.
Tried green as well as splash, totally disagree with the comment that thragtusk is weak, but Garruk is indeed an easy target and doesn't add much. Besides, he is like impossible to cast.Green cards would be: Thragtusk, Farseek, Urban Evolution, Huntmaster of the Fells, Progenitor Mimic, Mana Bloom, Ranger's Path, Borderland Ranger... Stuff like that. But this doesn't add to the strength of the deck. Key rule of Highlander is that all cards you draw must make a difference.
I will post two alternatives to this deck soon. For white and black splashes.
