The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

I call this Life X because the goal is to reach the point where exchanging life becomes most advantageous, and is used to defeat your opponent. The beauty of using all these cards with the "PW" symbol is that all remaining mana costs are colorless. Thus, I can run a rainbow deck without rainbow mana capability. The different basic lands in here are there to insure I can cast the cards without the "PW" symbol, particularly Magus of the Mirror. A lot of these cards would have a higher CMC were it not for the pay life option. So you're getting very powerful cards for essentially low cost colorless mana.
The life-gainers are, of course, a necessary protection to keep you from overdoing the life pay option before you're ready to set off Magus or the Conduit. Norn's Annex is particularly important. That paired with Moltensteel Dragon and/or Rage Extractor can make it possible for you to win even if you were unable to exchange life totals.

I like the deck idea! For possible favor, maybe add a card that works off by your opponent having a certain life total. For example, Triskaidekaphobia. A fun idea would be to do something with Tree of Perdition. I don't know what, but it could be fun. You seem pretty inventive.
