EDITED: after playtesting, Captivating Vampire is rather lack-luster, so i tossed a fourth Gatekeeper in as well as some more Blades. My original list reflected just what I owned, but this revised on is how I'd like the deck to look.

With this many artifacts you may want to think about tossing a few Phylactery Lich's in there.

Another way to go about it is to take out a few of the equipment for a few control cards like Duress and Inquisition of Kozilek. Trust me, getting rid of a few choice cards early on helps a vampire deck survive into the late game where big equipment and lords are going to come out.

Good hunting

oooo i just realized... wouldn't Wall of Shards be great for this deck? I utilize flying walls to block, and it's a 1/8 flying defender for 1W. It has com. upkeep opponent gains 1 life but i literally deal no damage with this deck so that's not a downside at all!
Idk, anyone think it'd be a good idea to replace my fog banks with those? Or perhaps put a few in in stead of some of the exiling cards?

Thanks again for the suggestions. I've cut black completely for white. The mill was nice, but i needed more creature disruption.
As for excavators, scours, freezes, charms, and sluices, believe it or not I've extensively playtested all of those cards and have cut them from the deck. They are waaay too weak, and with the amount of control I run, the only powerful card (brain freeze) never wound up doing anything. It's better in a combo/storm deck.
What I've found out about mill from others and this deck is that it's a war of attrition. A single hedron crab will win you the game as long as you last through the opponent's creatures. You just need to have 1 more card than the opponent and the crab and orb help me get that. My new additions (WoG, PtE, and more StoPs) help me last until that point. Let me know what you think.

I agree, the land was the weakest part of this deck. It playtests well, but i was still uneasy about it. Are you saying just toss in a few more basics?
As far as the black goes, I had thought of taking it out, but mind funeral always nets me about 14 cards (sometimes a whole deck if they've been fetching), and that's at least 6 or 7 more turns that I don't have to last through, and the same with glimpse, but i suppose a few mana leaks would make this deck a lot more annoying hehe.
Thanks for the tips I'll update this later today if i get the chance
