With that many creatures, Luring Predators could easily pop you 2-3 creatures per round in a four player game.

oh nice, didn't think of that. do you think i need more pipers like that? I have about 8 in there, and about 8 mana ramp. i've thought about dual color with white or green, but ended up with mono blue in the end.
I suggested it because at the moment it's showing as a B/G deck becuase of Cold-Eyed Selkie. If you're in fact going mono-blue you'll have to pull Selkie.
selkie is dual color cost though, i can pay blue or green for it.
While that is true it still has a blue/green color identity making it illegal in a mono-blue EDH deck. From the rules: "Hybrid mana symbols count as both of their component symbols for this purpose, e.g. if a player uses Isamaru, Hound of Konda as a general, he or she can not use Kitchen Finks."
oh geez you're right. okay. i didn't catch that when i read through the rules, thanks! although, i think after considering your recommendation for lurking predators, I'm going to go blue/green after all. i've also got some other thing i really like for a big creature deck, like overwhelming stampede.
