oh geez you're right. okay. i didn't catch that when i read through the rules, thanks! although, i think after considering your recommendation for lurking predators, I'm going to go blue/green after all. i've also got some other thing i really like for a big creature deck, like overwhelming stampede.

selkie is dual color cost though, i can pay blue or green for it.
oh nice, didn't think of that. do you think i need more pipers like that? I have about 8 in there, and about 8 mana ramp. i've thought about dual color with white or green, but ended up with mono blue in the end.
i agree, it is too hard to run multiple mechanics, especially lifegain/attack buffs, they just require too many different style cards. EXCEPT for lifelink, which is the perfect (and only) effective way to do both at the same time. perfect suggestion tyrise.
ya I think moose is right, you don't have any swamps to search for, maybe since you put those swarmyards in there? replace those mana searchers with a forest/swarmyard or non-basic mana ramper. spider are awesome and totally undervalued!
really sweet deck, I thought about making an all spider deck once but it turns out that if you put some insects in there with deathtouch plus that swarmyard land, it eliminates the need to pump everything up and lets you get some more mana ramp and creatures. check out the deck I made: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=334856
Tidal Kraken is good but I don't think it counts as a kraken, its a monster type. So it didn't mesh with Ula's Temple. I played this last night and I think I definitely need some better defense. I'm probably going to put some more greens in here to help out. It works really well as is, but it can't quite overcome a flying deck or destruct deck.
hey man, your deck inspired me to try a big sea creatures deck, check it out and tell me what you think, it helps a little bit more in the early game and adds another way to get out creatures without paying for them and faster as well. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=332921 BTW, does Tidal Kraken count as a kraken creature, his type is labeled as monster, not kraken. Something I noticed.
yup you were right my friend, I've played this deck now a few times since knocking it down to 61 and it works great now. thanks!
