The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

This is my first deck on mtgvault. This is a green wurm deck that has proven itself against plenty of different opponents to be one of the fastest beatings I have seen in years. Please comment, definetly open for criticism. Thanks.

Deck discussion for big time wurm crush

I think you need some Engulfing Slagwurms in this deck--just because they are really good!!

Good luck!!

:P

Yeah, I definetly plan on adding two of those along with 2 panglacial wurms. Im just having a hard time keeping it at 60 cards. Everything works with this deck so far except for the fact that it usually takes about four turns to get a decent creature out and I've been stomped by a small creature infect deck planty of times already. Thanks for the comment.

this should definitely have at least one overwhelming stampede

I think the overruns have the pump up covered. I had two might of the oaks and some giant growths in here, but I removed them to give more room for creatures. I feel that the creatures are strong enough and even overrun is just overkill most of the time =)

looks good id have more elves for early ramp llanowar and arbour, and maybe more pipers rancour is great as it gives trample and boost thats what wurms need trample there the biggest things going but can be chomped to easy, yea your righjt to try and get the engulfing slagwurms the creatures clashing with it is destroyed before any damage is ever assigned thats why there so powerfull, i dont think you need the door to destinys or gauntlet of power the latter may give an advatage to your opponent and the former well your wurms are gig enough id drop em both for x2 more elves, id loose x 2 ducksdale wurms and x1 rootbreaker wurm for x 1 elvish piper and x 2 rancour you have plenty big wurms and these ones are not the best i'm afrais look at the mana cost for what they do, not a fan, i like the massive w/g boy that im not gonna spell (lol) your right to have x2 but no more of him although an extrra piper increases his chances and i like the bellowing tangle wurm maybe 1 more of those hes cheaper and can be a game winner if dropped at the right time, with the extra trample and intimidate abilitys added in here id loose x 2 predatory focus as i dont think you need them and they cost too that will pay for your other tangle wurm and a engulfingslag wurm.

very very good, the above is ment as options for you although i think they would help, yopu can also check my angry wurms deck for ideas as is fairly similar but different in feel, all this aside great deck well done.

If I may, I would make this deck have less x2 and more x4. What I mean is figure out what cards really fit your deck and have a full set of them. Things like the elvish piper, llanowar elves, and pelakka Wurm are deffinetly some of the cards you would prolly wanna keep. Please check out my Wurm/piper deck and tel me what you think
