A slightly different take on the slivers. Having always been a fan of slivers since tempest, I was compelled to make another sliver deck after several years. However, I wanted to make one that was completely unlike my friend's sliver deck, which was bought off of me years ago. This is what I came up with.
Not too many different ways to play slivers. However, different focus than usual here. Getting mana out is critical of course, which this deck has no problem with. Gemhides and homing slivers are the true key to this deck. Once homing is in play, don't play a sliver you already have in play other than the muscle (keep an extra gemhide in your hand to replace one should it die). Instead, sliver cycle them for the 3 legendary slivers, Overlord, Legion, and Queen. Also, save the shifting sliver for a coup d grace. Should you have heart sliver, the queen, the gemhide, and the heartstone in play, realize that 1 mana now produces a 1/1 sliver, which has haste and can produce one mana. Demonstrate why it is infinite, name an arbitrary number of slivers, (I like taking the number 100,001 and subtracting the number of slivers in play so I have exactly 100,001 slivers) and that is how many you have. Play sliver legion and now all slivers have +100,000/+100,000. Essence sliver, BAM! 100,000 X 100,000 life gain! Enjoy demolishing those around you...

Get all 10 guildgates, then when the new expansion comes out, you can put that legendary land in =D

Which legendary land?
I always liked mana echoes and sliver Queen for infinite slivers:)
That one is well known and overused. By having it as a 4 card combo instead of a two card combo, my friends will still play with me. :) I like being able to stomp a player to dust, but winning all the time is just as bad as losing all the time.
Check out Patriarch's Bidding
Good idea, thank you.
I LOVE SLIVERS, always have since the day I found them!I like your deck a lot, a definite different angle on slivers. I don't run the queen (infinite sliver) strategy although I've considered it for some time. Reconsidering it yet again.I have living wish instead of homing slivers, to free up space and be more versatile, and not to mention cost less mana. Might consider it here?Take a look at what I have going on: And, please do feel free to leave any comments!http://www.mtgvault.com/slivermania/decks/persecution-by-sliver/
Homing Sliver dumps slivers to the graveyard for later, brutal retrieval by Patriarch's Bidding.
