Main Deck (60 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

A predominantly artifact based deck that relies on getting relatively cheap cards out and then buffing them with +1/+1 counters. Playing casually I've found it to be very effective.

Deck discussion for Artifact Domination

A nice basic build for an artifact deck. 4 Master of Etherium's, though good, seems a little excessive. Try adding Energy Chambers to put +1/+1 or charge tokens down. Works well with Overflowing Chalice if you're short on mana.

Thanks for the info, as a new player it's often hard to find out what cards compliment a deck. I'll look into both of your suggestions.

That said I haven't had a problem with being short on mana with this deck as yet.

The deck does have a good supply of mana, and if you want even more of a boost for Master of Etherium, you can replace some of your regular lands with the artifact version of them (i.e. Plains with Ancient Den; Swamp with Vault of Whispers), though this does leave them vulnerable to "Destroy target artifact" spells.

Good to know. As you've pointed out though this decks glaring weakness is "destroy artifact" cards. My regular duelling buddy showed me 'creeping corrosion' for example. Is there a way to at least partially protect from those kind of attacks without deviating from the artifact theme too much?

Counter Artifact based decks can be a nuisance. There are a few ways to counter this; have a stock of counter cards (i.e. Counterspell, Mana Leak, and Undermine) or have a few artifacts handy that render artifacts almost Indestructible (i.e. Darksteel Plate/Forge).
Take a look at my Darksteel Collector deck for some ideas on what best fits.

I think Darksteel forge could be the card for me! Thanks for the information.
