Deck Description

Pyrothrummer

I call it a 'Pyrothrummer because I utilize both Thrumming Stone and Pyromancers Ascension. This deck can work in many different color combinations and does not neccesarily require running rats.

Utilizing Thrumming stone and Pyromancers Ascension.

If rats are removed from the game by something like 'extirpate', well there is still a deck, and there is a shorter distance between the copies of burn spells, resulting in a more efficiant counter-adding on pyromancers ascension and a higher frequency of succesfull ripples.

The fetchlands thin the deck to shorten the distance even more.

Fireblast is a finisher, but if I ran 4 of them, I mght acutally hit one with the thrum, and get a free cast of a usually expensive spell.

Volt charge help the ascension.

I might need mana acceleration to get thrummingstone down faster. If I wasn't running rats, I would't be running black, and I would have alot of red accelerators instead.

This is wicked matey!... Like the ides behind this deck and Forsaken Wastes, is fun and awesome here. check up on Rain of Gore and get rid of dark ritual.

think u could get trouble against a sneak attack deck or other fast combo decks? maybe Backlash or some destruction like a disk could help u on that. - At least in sideboard.

based on hardly damage and battlefield control but how fast is it?....
Think i need Mental Misstep to protect my fish :)
