Deck Description

I want people to tell me their most memorable card in their opinion and tell me a story along with it if they want.

For me, my most memorable card would be Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre because when I first started playing MTG(which was in Eldrazi) within the first few packs I opened I found this guy. Although he doesnt see much play in standard right now, at the time me and my friends thought he was the best card out there. The first deck I actually built used Ulamog. My friend Ben, who had started playing right around the time i had, had bought a 2001 World Champion Toronto pre-built deck and decided he was the best out of all of us because of it. After being killed by it 10's of times I decided I needed something better than my U/B Sphinx of Magosi starter deck, so I took the cards I had, did some research on the internet, and built a very basic Eldrazi ramp deck using Ulamog, Kozileks Predators, Emrakuls Hatchers, and a few Brood Birthings. The 1st time I played Ben with it I won using Eldrazi Spawns to ramp up to my Ulamog. It was the greatest feeling ever and I dont think I will ever have a better experience with MTG than I did that day.

Please post your most memorable card in the comments along with a story(optional) and I will be sure to put it in the deck list for everyone to see :)

Deck discussion for Most Memorable Cards?

Teysa, Orzhov Scion. My very first magic deck was an Orzhov deck based around her. Even after all those years since Ravnica, when I play her I remember what it felt like then. <3 Teysa, my love <3

Silvos, Rogue Elemental. I dropped into magic around this release and was instantly attracted to green as my favorite color. This card literally defines meaty green stompy for me, and was a part of a multitude of green decks that I've made over the years. Even today, it's hard to find a more powerful creatures for just 6 mana.

Karn Liberated. For the first time in a while, I decided, "Why not buy a booster pack and see what all the fuss is about with this new set?" I bought a pack for $3.00. And there was Karn, staring me in the face. It's the one card that everyone I know has offered to trade me massive amounts of cards for, and has never lost me a match, ever. And the backstory of the character is pretty much the most awesome thing I ever heard. I could go on and on and on and on, but I'll be nice and not take up the whole screen here with the rest of my memory. I'll just leave with this remark: since the day I put him in my deck- any deck, that's the great thing about him- I've been called a Karn-ivore because of the way I get to use him. Love that nickname.

Nightmare. I started playing in Revised, and I loved Black cards. Nightmare was my favorite one. I loved the art, and back in the day was extremely powerful at least in my casual circle.
