Deck Description

I just love control. Don't you?

I would like to take this to my FNM. Not necessarily looking to go to the top, but I wouldn't mind winning. ;)

Would really love suggestions!

How to Play

Basically, stall and control the board until my Invisible Stalker can waste.

Deck discussion for Standard Azorius Control

Drop inaction injunction for more spheres of safety and more O-Rings

Dispell is better in place of negate (cheaper, your main concern is a sphinx's rev)

Drop one cyclonic rift and one azorius charm for Azor's for an alternate win condition.

Alternatively you could change this to a heavy enchantment control with the following: O-ring, Bonds of faith, Pacify, Arrest, and Dsphere for TWENTY spells to stop your oppoenent from doing anything. Then throw in Invisible stalker, Eth armor, and Azors.

The Azors are great in the heavy enchantment deck because they cant hit you because they are locked down so hard and with sphere of safety those you miss have a hard time as well, so its a great win condition.

Thank you so much for the suggestions!

The only thing that concerns me about the Sphere's and the Azor's is their high mana cost. And, if I take out some of the cheaper spells, I'm concerned I won't have enough control in the early game. Thoughts on that?

maybe u could take out the rifts all together and replace them with a couple key runes? Would work well with the verdicts n help u ramp to martial law, etc faster.

True. I might be taking Drespar's suggestion and making this more of an enchantment themed deck. If I do, I'll probably main board the keyrunes. Thanks for the suggestions!

May i ask what you plan to do if the 4 stalkers die? Against a black/red or black/green deck, they will die. At that point i see you standing there for awhile till whoever went second loses. Add some extra win conditions.

I'm working on a deck that focuses on the stalker as well and any help would be appreciated.

Only problems I see with this deck is no real answers or back up plans for if you run out of stalkers and a boring first turn. When it does work I'll bet this is a really annoying deck to play against.

I would suggest replacing inaction injunction with hand of binding because it lasts longer and you can cipher I would also suggest skymark roc that bounces creatures when you swing

Look at the date the deck was created, it was Standard back in the day, he just didn't change the name.
