I think you should consider Selective Memory in order to thin out the deck once you have a creature on hand and Possibility Storm in play.

The mindcensors are a good idea. the only reason why there are no baleful strix is because its not modern :'(

Maybe some walls such as Hover Barrier and Angelic Wall to protect yourself before you get your Arcanist going.
