10 out of 10 for the Dark Knight reference. Moving on, R/G ramp is probably the only way to break worldfire in standard. White has access to O-ring and Fiend Hunter, but without Braid of Fire and only Gilded Lotus, green is your best bet. However, that being said, this doesnt look solid. Fluffyweresheep is right, Thragtusk to the rescue, but unless you have it, you are not going to play that worldfire. This is a R/G ramp aggro blend that has a nice party trick if the stars align. To make it a solid Worldfire deck, i would take out Farseeks, Fogs, and the random Revive in favour of Geistflame and Galvanic Blast/Gut shot/shock for as long as they are in standard then bring in another 1 cmc instant burn spell. They finish the game just as much as Thragtusk. See: 1) Have 10 mana open (shouldnt be too hard with all the ramp) 2) Cast Worldfire 3) Worldfire goes on the stack. 4) Cast Geistflame targeting opponent in response 5) Geistflame on stack 6) Since you casted both, you choose which resolves first. Choose Worldfire. 7) Worldfire begins resolving, the world goes boom. 8) Your opponent has 1 life. 9) Geistflame resolves 10) Party The only iffy part is if Geistflame resolves first or second. Im about 87% sure you choose, but i would check the rules. This way, you have burn spells to use mid game to help win without worldfire but if you start getting behind you can win. Finally, take out 1 worldfire. Having 4 risks getting 2 or 3 in your opening hand, and that would be BAD.
world fire/giestflame combo: Wolf fire is sorcery, can you choose the order it resolves if one's an instant and the other is a sorcery?
