The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Red (Battle Cry) Wins. If the alphabet were Fibonacci's Sequence, then B plus C would equal D.

-4 Goblin Gaveleer +4 Goblin Chieftain
Was considering it in my initial build. I dislike the CMC 3 though. Hell, I even dislike Rally the Forces being CMC 3. But the +1/+1 all would justify the cost, I suppose. And haste is never a bad thing! I'll give it a try and run a few sample hands to see if I like it. I will say, though, that Gaveleer is pretty sweet for a 1/1 trample for 1 when battlecry is added to the mix (much more efficient, imo, than trying to equip him)
Okay. I severely underestimated Chieftain's contribution to the power and tempo of the deck. Fourth turn Kuldotha Rebirths lag behind, in some circumstances I would suspect warranting an all out stop on offense to preserve the buffs granted by other creatures, as to not lose those creatures due to overwhelming defenders. With a third turn Chieftain, that fourth turn Kuldotha Rebirth not only ceases to lag, but becomes quite wicked.
Indeed it does. I also like that you're one of the few that uses Contested warzone. It's perfect for this type of deck and hell, swinging for 6 turn two is pretty awesome, especially when you can drop a Chieftain turn three and swing for 8 more....quite a few decks won't even have a creature out by then.
Contested War Zone is awesome. The change of control trigger shouldn't be much to worry about. If an opponent does hit you for combat damage, their combat phase is already over. You'll get it back next turn. It does become rather precarious in ffa multi-player formats, but I look forward to the shenanigans that pursue :) Glad you like, and thanks for the suggestion!
As an experienced goblin player and a player who played this "kuldotha red" deck type before from a modified RDW, Quest for goblin guide sucks. I know it sounds like its great and it is if you can get it. But the fact remians the same. With artifacts out there, there are so many other, better, options. Galvanic Blast is excellent in this deck. You trully can just ping them and then burn them for the win in just a few turns. And also, it may be slower but in the meta game it helps and even early game if you know how to use it: Teetering peaks. Also, if you have the money for it, get Mox Opal. You can spam shit first turn then. Only get like two tops though, as its really only good in the begining. I'm glad to see that this deck type is getting out there.
Unfortunately, I had to sell my Mox Opals (and others) for gas money for classes :( Lol, being a poor / starving college kid sucks for the hobby :P Before Quest for the Goblin Lord I was running Stone Idol Trap, just because there's a good bit of aggro elsewise amongst my meta (we play a bastardized mix of Vintage and Legacy, I just like building Standard decks). Combining my sample hands with predictions of what I'd be facing, I determined that Quest worked better in most cases. In my sample hands (in excess of 100, easily.. I sample hand this deck when I get bored XD), I've had about 50% of the hands that contained or subsequently drew Quest, successfully triggered it by turn 2 or 3 because of Kuldotha Rebirth. If you suggest getting rid of it (I'd like to play test it first), I could consider going back to Goblin Gaveleer (previously replaced by Chieftain) for trample, or Myr Sire for a turn 3 Kuldotha Rebirth + extra 1/1 body. Or, as you suggested in my other deck, Panic Spellbomb. I like the idea of card draw that fits an aggro theme, and think it could really help out with mediocre hands. Regarding your comment on my other deck, this isn't an explicit copy of someone else's deck. This is an original design, what I came up with when I read the spoilers for Goblin Wardriver and Signal Pest. I don't typically play Goblins or mono red, so I really can't help it if my endeavors to build a good red aggro deck lead to the same choice of cards as most other good red aggro decks.
