The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

I figured I keep publishing decks that I don't even own or play, but want to build. There's way too many of those to keep track of! It's about time I published the decks I'm actually playing in casual / multi-player games right now. Links to my other decks are at the end of this description. This is my black aggro. It performs incredibly well, although it is a bit one dimensional. Bloodghast & Nether Traitor provide an absurd amount of card advantage when paired with Skullclamp. I'm really surprised that you don't have a Demonic or Vampiric Tutor in here. With the Grave Pact being an excellent addition paired with the Clamp, I figure you'd want a way to get to it ASAP. It will also let you get to the Buried Alive to help the Bloodghasts. And consider upping the Marsh Flats count to 4. That will round you out at 22 lands overall which will definitely help ensure mana when you need it, even though you only really need 2 to fly. If Mono Black is your thing, take a look at my take on it at http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=86456. I appreciate any insight you can offer.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm working towards 4x Marsh Flats, but only have one at the moment. I have too many other projects on my plate to buy any, but if I come past them in trade I'm getting them for sure. I don't think I need 22 lands though, not even 20. 18 seems to work just right for this deck, so any more Marsh Flats will replace Swamps. That may change, I did just add the Vampire Nighthawks and Buried Alive recently, but haven't encountered any problems so far. Demonic Tutor is another one of those cards I don't have, but always on the hunt for. But again, when it comes to purchases, I have a few other things that take priority. For now I'm happy just top-decking Grave Pact. I did run Infernal Tutor, since I can easily empty my hand by turn 3-4, but more often than not it turned into a dead draw once I got my Skullclamps rolling. I'll take a look at your deck too, once my girl stops nagging me for spending too much time on MTG today :P
take a look at mine and see if u can help me out im also building a vimpire deck and trust me the way it runs right now im loving it considering that my 12 year old brother helped me build and tested out lol it runs like this temple bells for draw power liliana vess for dirscarding oponents hand liliana's specter for discarding aswell among other sorcery like Duress, Horrifying Revelation and then when they have full hand discard and thats where my enchantments come in to play Liliana's Caress, Painful Quandary you get what im trying to do i focus more on liliana but i run allot of vampires with her.
Modified the deck a little bit: -1 Viscera Seer -3 Doom Blade -3 Go for the Throat +1 Phyrexian Arena +2 Sign in Blood +4 Geth's Verdict. Overall I'm happy with the changes, the deck runs much more consistently now. I can dig deep and fast and lay down overwhelming amounts of cheap vampires. I had difficulty with this before if I didn't draw a Skullclamp within my first 8 cards. Sign in Blood and Phyrexian Arena help keep the card advantage overwhelming, and since the changes I've drawn Buried Alive and / or Gravepact much more often. I'm also going to try to get my hands on a fourth Bloodghast and three more Marsh Flats. Absolutely 100% my favorite creature printed in the last two years. One other change I'm considering is replacing a combination of two of the following: Guul Draz Vampire, Vampire Lascerator, and / or Viscera Seer; and adding two more Swamps. Despite my comment above, I have had some difficulty maintaining enough mana to keep dropping cards since I've added Nighthawk and Gatekeeper. And finally, I'm thinking about investing in a set of Diabolic Intent since a full set costs as much as a Demonic Tutor, and running a pair of them in this deck. I'm not sure where I will make room for them yet, though.
I like this deck a lot!!! I do wonder though, what would you replace for the other 3 Marsh Flats, or the 4th Bloodghast?
