I've been having great success with my Modern adaptation of Soulstomp, and decided to see how it fares in Legacy. Well, it does just what it's supposed to do, stomp faces. The original concept for this deck I learned from one of buddysystem's decks. Pretty much, Soulstomp is an adaptation of the 26/14 Stompy deck, which ran 26 one-cost spells, and 14 two-cost spells. It gets its name from Phyrexian Soulgorger, and modifies the mana curve by dropping 4 two-cost spells for that big heaping pile of 8/8 badassery. I modified the concept further by splashing black for Bob, bolstering the deck's card advantage. Though technically Stompy is mono green, I think the powers that be can agree that the addition does little to make the deck any less stompy. I mean.. it's almost like he was designed for this mana curve! One major change I've made is dropping Farmhand / Muscle Burst to fit Vines of the Vastwood without going overboard on pump. As much as I love Farmhand / Muscle Burst, I've found Vastwood's "hexproof" to be invaluable, and it still kicks well to ramp Berserk or turn Pit-Skulk into a clock spinning badass in his own right.
