Deck Description

My mill deck, very effective and quick at eliminating an opponents library. With the Leylines and Gemstone Caverns this deck has the potential to win before your opponent draws their first card. It would be rare, but possible. The deck is effective enough to win on turn 3 quite often.

Deck discussion for Grinder

Memory Sluice doesn't seem like it would really get much done, there are very few creatures going on.

Unless there is something I'm missing, Mind Funeral is a whole ton of rape and would probably serve you better. Maybe even Duress if you're looking for 1st turn plays, take out any annoying cards that can kill your mill.

Memory Sluice serves its purpose as a quick mill, it works with either blue or black mana. In my side board I have Raven Guild Masters and Nemisis of Reasons. This is built for speed, creatures are really largely unneccessary. With 4 Painters Servants and Grindstones I should have my mill combo out quick, and Fabricate to pull them out should I draw that before I draw either of the other 2. Mibd Funeral is a great card and would pump up the deck, I agree.

if you use leyline of the void.... you might want to add Helm of Obediance for an infinite mill

Tome scour can be useful for a quick mill.
