I made three decks based off of Fraying Sanity in the hopes of finding a way to make mill functional in modern. There were two big challenges in getting this enchantress/mill deck working. The first is that modern doesn't have any resilient support for enchantments. Nothing as busted as Serra Sanctum or Argothian Enchantress or Enchantress's Presence existing in the format means that explosive starts or sustained card draw aren't readily available. What also feels bad, is that the deck can't run Rest in Peace and is incredibly weak to Rest In Peace thanks to how it interacts with Fraying Sanity. Hopefully the pillowfort/hate enchantment package is enough to keep the slow mill running. This might also be a good shell to include the Phyrexian Unlife/Solemnity combo, as we don't use any counters and could use some infinite damage soak.
Play enchantments. You should very rarely play a mill spell over some type of hoser for your opponents threats, as the deck is trying to take the game long. Sigil of the Empty Throne is the backup win condition, having the capacity to take over the game very quickly. Starfield of Nyx should be treated as a finisher in creature-light matchups and an engine against enchantment removal. The drawback of turning on creature removal makes me think it deserves to stay in the sideboard.
