Deck Description

Goglari graveyard-based deck that I built to give ideas to a friend building a similar deck.

How to Play

This deck focuses on the graveyard and using it as a powerful resource. Your early game consists of Slitherheads that can be used for fodder later on as needed, and the surprisingly potent Lotleth Troll. This will serve as one of your main beatsticks and an enabler for the deck since he can continuously feed guys to the grave to power later threats like Nighthowler, Nemesis of Mortals, and the big bad of the Golgari Swarm himself, Jarad. Undercity Informer and Rot Farm Skeleton, while not powerful guys themselves, are awesome enablers for the deck and can quickly stockpile your graveyard.

Since the main creature threat density is a bit higher on the curve than usual aside from our beloved troll, this deck hosts a generous suite of removal options to keep your opponent's shenanigans under control while you stock up your 'yard. And once you HAVE a large fatty in play, you need to protect it, obviously. This is where Alpha Authority and Golgari Charm pull their weight, though the charm has other purposes as well.

The manabase is the best that it can be in standard, with a full set of shocklands and guildgates, though the gates should be replaced by the B/G Scry Land coming out in set 2 of Theros Block, 'Born of the Gods' when available.

Yep, I'll dig up (no pun intended) what I can find out of my extras and get them to you in the near future, thought I've already traded you the expensive part of the deck (the Tombs) lol
