The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Remade my Battle of Wits deck to be legal in the current Standard environment. The main win condition is (of course) Battle of Wits, but it can also win from milling via Nephalia Drownyard, or damage from either Curse of Thirst or the large creatures in the deck. I'll be updating this list as I continue testing and figuring out what works. Main concerns now are swapping the Archons out as I get some Angels of Serenity, upping the curse of thirst count, and hopefully Gatecrash and Dragon's Maze will bring me some more tutors to use here. Cards I don't have but want to add: + 2 Angel of Serenity + 4 Hallowed Fountain + 4 Entreat the Angels + 2-4 Sorin, Lord of Innistrad + 2-4 Tamiyo, the Moon Sage Once we get Gatecrash and the rest of the shocklands, I may convert this into a 5-color Battle deck, but I'm waiting to see what the other guilds bring to the table before I decide on that or not.

Wait, Curse cards and others that check upkeep but no Paradox Haze?

It's a standard deck bro ^ And why not 4 curse of misfortunes and 3 curse of thirst it's a side win con Also archon of the trimuvariate is bad even when looking for stuff to play
The Archons are just placeholders until I get some Angel of Serenity to add in. And what would you suggest removing for the extra curses?
Augur of bolas he could put your battle on the bottom of your deck
He could, but the odds of that are pretty slim, plus he draws me more answers to the opponent's board, which is always welcome. Plus with the tutors & other draw in the deck already, it really won't be too big of a setback if he throws a BoW to the bottom.
^ And that is why standard is no fun. Thanks for the correction though.
For the longest time that's what I thought but it limits what's your opponents play to so by limitin play to standard I stopped getting turn 4-Ed and it stopped my friends from having things exile with path to exile and swords all day It's also a gate way to allowing Someone to play semi competitively
I really love Battle of Wits decks and it's great to see them packing a punch! If you could check out my fun deck also it would be much appreciated! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=406879
