Trying to make Harvest Season work, ideally by nabbing three lands.On a good draw, I can play:turn one Loam Dryadturn two Channeler Initiateturn three Ornithopter, activate Dryad tapping Ornithopter, tap Inititate and play Harvest Season to hit for three lands (with one mana open for a Dispel, Hapatra's Mark, etc.) As long as I hit my land drop on turn four, that's nine possible mana for a Part the Warterveil (with Awaken) or a Nissa loaded with enough counters to immediately activate her ultimate ability. I've also considered Walking Ballista and Sandwurm Convergence as ramp targets.Nine mana on turns three/four does happen sometimes, but more often than not, I'm only getting two lands out of Harvest Season. Unfortunately, with the new Standard meta, turn four Marvel is hard to stop, but it's possible to match, so I'd like to somehow improve the chances of landing that three-land Harvest Season. Any suggestions welcome.
Use mana dorks and ramp spells to build as much mana as you can as quickly as possible, preferably by turns 4/5. Use it to cast a Part the Waterveil, load up a Nissa with loyalty counters, or transform an Ulvenwald Captive.
