I've been digging the Jund Discard/Gods aggro builds, so wanted to try something based in my personal favorite shard: Grixis. I like the evasion on Shadowstorm Vizier and happened to recently pull four copies, so I wanted to make it work.I find that Bloodrage Brawler and Pale Rider play very similarly in this build. I use those, Lightning Axe, Sinister Concoction and Hazoret to facilitate discard effects, and some work double duty as removal.Fiery Temper/Alms of the Vein as the main "pitch" targets. Hazoret is the obvious beneficiary of a vacant hand, but I'd like to make Grim Strider fit (also pulled four copies of that), as well.Censor/Sweltering Suns provide some versatility and, along with a few Cycling lands, help further pump up our creatures. Any/all suggestions or comments always welcome.*Added Collective Brutality, which I totally forgot about in the initial writeup.
Get a "pump" creature down early, either Flameblade Adept, Stormshadow Vizier, or maybe Hekma Sentinels, if I can make that fit. Next turn, pitch a card with Pale Rider/Brawler, or play removal with Lightning Axe/Sinister Concoction, followed (hopefully) by a madness spell and a couple +1/+1 triggers. Hazoret can swing for near lethal shortly after, or help cast an Alms/Temper while pinging for two himself. Grim Strider is an alternative finisher, but without Haste. Sideboard has some optional discard disruption, but is mostly cards that didn't make the cut.

Excellent suggestion, will test it out. I really like using Prototype with Bomat Courier, they are like their own little two-card "plan B." Do you think adding some copies of both is worth dropping Flameblade Adept? That's the current direction I'm leaning.
