Good ideas both... but I kinda like cover of winter as a "freeze them out" thematic component. Storm Herd and Tornado are cool ideas; these could fit loosely with a "winter storm" theme.

Hmm. Why is Argothian Enchantress classified as an Enchantment? She's a creature...

How is this a second-turn win?

Hey, congratulations! I'd love to see your decklists for them.

You won't go infinite as a result, you know, right? You'll get to take two extra turns.

If Bloodbraid Elf hits your Banefire, you won't be able to use it well (either X = 0, or it lands among the bottom cards of your library). You might want to swap out Banefire for something more reliable.

How do you plan to cast Treasure Hunter? Relying on the Bloodbraid to bring it up for you will probably disappoint you, most games. I'm also curious to know how Treasure Hunter helps you -- did you perhaps mean Treasure Hunt, the blue card draw spell?

I kind of want to put Wing Shards in here. Everybody forgets about Wing Shards.

The singletons are a problem-solving toolbox to be fetched with Tutor. The main deck is anti-creature-aggro, the sideboard wrecks combo and disrupts control. In an ideal world, I'd swap out the Ancient Den (enlightened-tutoring for land is so silly), and instead run two Moats rather than a singleton. Moats nearly guarantee a first-game win against Zoo or Merfolk.

Also -- I second the recommendation for Wall of Reverence, maybe instead of Kor Cartographer (this deck shouldn't worry too much about acceleration). You might consider dropping the Allies entirely, which rely heavily on Ondu Cleric for successful lifegain.

What promise to really be fun, for a deck like this, are the new Totem Spirits from Rise of the Eldrazi...

I would recommend Rest for the Weary over Silence. Do you run Silence because you fear combo decks?

This deck needs a Mindslaver, and maybe an Ambassador Laquatus; they fit into the theme perfectly.

Infinite Authority brings back memories. I used to have a deck that tried to put together Infinite Authority, Gabriel Angelfire, and Lure. This was back when the art on Lure was an apple...

You might also consider Zektar Shrine Expedition, Ball Lightning, maybe even Elemental Appeal alongside Where Ancients Tread. With those changes, this deck might even work as an RG two-color deal.

It seems fun. But I'm surprised to hear that Sol Ring speeds up this deck, since the deck uses so little colorless. Have you tried Chrome Mox instead, to see if it's more effective, or perhaps something with Cascade, like Kathari Remnant, or Bituminous Blast, or maybe Demonic Dread?
