Enchantments (3)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

There are a few mechanics of this deck. First, there are mostly low mana cost creatures so you can get them out early. Usually on 1v1, as soon as Vampire Nocturnus comes out, he's the win condition. Bloodseeker will keep your opponents at bay, while you make them sacrifice their other creatures with Gatekeeper. Add a Kalitas in the mix and the vampires will overwhelm a small army. Sanguine bond is a must to get onto the battlefield. With the lifelink properties of the Nighthawk and Vampire's bite, it can become troublesome for opponents. Add in Corrupt and Tendrils of Corruption and it's game over.

Would have put in Blood Tribute for the Blood Tribute + Sanguine Bond win condition but it was a little mana steep, maybe put it in sideboard for multiplayer games.

Would like some ideas on better lands. Thanks for reviewing my deck!

Deck discussion for Vampire Deck

crypt of agadeem is a good land card for this deck.
that way you can add more high mana cost cards like sanguine bond and blood tribute.
malakir bloodwitch.
or beseech the queen to help get your sanguine bond.
but at the same time it could give you bad mana burn.
but when you have sanguine bond in a vampire deck mana burn dosnt really matter.

good effing job on this deck one of the best vampire decks iv seen.

sacrifice lands are essential for a mono black vampire deck - marsh flats, verdant catacombs

why would sac lands be essential for a mono black deck with no landfall creatures?

No reason for sac lands in this deck. Also, you realize that this would be a T2 deck if you removed Corrupt? Maybe trade it for something like Consume Spirit? Not quite the same thing, but it can still be effective and it's Standard. Or Blood Tribute would work too since you are running a Vamp deck...

Yes I realize that, but corrupt has saved me more times than I can count on two hands and I just play casually so it doesn't really matter

Holy. Hot. Damn. I proxy'd this and it flows like an incredible dream, by FAR the best I've ever seen. My deck is a simple creature stomper I guess I could say :P

4 Feast of Blood
4 Vampire Hexmage ( My friends LOVE playing plane-whore decks )
4 Gatekeeper of Malakir ( Sac saves my life all the time )
4 Child of Night ( Life link is always nice, mostly in the deck for Feast of Blood)
4 Vampire Nighthawk ( Flying, Lifelink, and Deathtouch -- What isn't to like? )
4 Guul Draz Vampire ( Simply for creature whoring )
4 Vampire Lacerator ( 1b 2/2 -- I love 'em! )
3 Blood Tribute ( Half life, gain half, Beautiful in team games )
2 Tendrils of Corruption ( Automatically 4 damage when cast, give a bit of time and it's INVALUABLE )
2 Malakir Bloodwitch ( Causing damage, gaining life -- I LOVE it )

Any comments?
