Wow I actually totally agree. Can't believe I forgot about Precinct Captain, and I'm trying to get my hands on some Champions. I'll be throwing in some godless shrines too for the spirits. What are your thoughts on Vault of the Archangel? Would it benefit more than it hurts my mana base?

Thanks so much for your comments. I haven't finished formulating ideas for a sideboard yet, but rootborn is definitely on that list. Also, I haven't actually splashed red at all. I will always be casting Reckoner for 3 white. I agree that the lifegain may be too slow, but I figured If I could get it paired with a paladin it could in late game. I have yet to really test this deck, but once I do, I'll definitely be making adjustments.

I appreciate your suggestions. I currently only have one copy of thragtusk so if i acquire another one it will be added in. I've tried this deck with varying numbers of gilded lotus, and when I run two I usually end up with a whole lot of mana and nothing to cast with it. Burning-tree emissary really helps with the mana fixing and I'm running four of each shock land, because they are searchable with farseek. I did consider taking out the firemane avengers, its battalion is just too helpful late game for regaining life to justify removing it. I'll proxy a couple games with some huntmasters and see how that goes. Thanks again for the advice!

The Sideboard is up! I took your advice on the Cloudshifts and boarded a couple.

I'll be adding that into the sideboard. For the sideboard, I'll be adding in a lot of cards with the populate mechanic. (growing ranks, wayfaring temple, druid's deliverance, root bound defenses, etc.) Thank you for the suggestion!

To run an 84 card deck, at least 30 of those should be lands considering you have an Average Converted Mana Cost of roughly 3.0. At 20 lands, you will consistently miss a lot of land drops.

Accounting for artifact removal, I am running four doors. Elderscale Wurm has also served as a win condition in the past. I have been thinking about Druid's Deliverance and Grove of the Guardian. Bountiful Harvest is just a really nice boost when you've got all of your lands on the playing field, which has happened multiple times for me. Like I said in the description, it ain't perfect, but it's cheap. I'll try running it with maybe two bountiful and two druid's maybe add in the groves too. I appreciate the advice!

Hi there! I built this deck when I saw Door to Nothingness, and I just wanted to make it (force it to) work. It has been winning for me about 40% of the time in casual play (which I consider great since it takes 10 mana for the win condition). Even when you don't win with this deck, it is still the most fun deck I've played in years. Just seeing the look on your opponents face when you drop out a fifth colored land and the response to the Door (either they want to kill you or they can't stop laughing) is priceless. Aside from Nicol Bolas it is cheap to build and just down right fun. I know you've got like 70ish decks to look at, but if you get to it lemme know what you think.

I think it looks great man! I've proxied almost this exact same deck against the likes of tokens and Wolf Run Ramps. For me it is still undefeated. Good build Sir!
