Deck Description

Prepare yourself!
This is my first attempt at a standard deck in...... a long time. After seeing some of the new ally abilities, I thought I could give this archetype a go

How to Play

The main idea is to use some of the Cohort abilities with Vampire Envoy to gain some life and keep your opponents creatures to a minimum. Gideon and Liliana are in here to finish the game when you have set up your victory

It's anti-lore, but Kalithas, Traitor of Ghet would fit really well here

One of my friends used to play or still plays, idk, something like this, a bit faster with a playset of the 1/2 healer but similar nontheless.
It was a bit too dependant on drana and gideon but that is probably not the case here as you do have a fair share of impactful threats.

That aside I'd press the draw sample hand button a hundred times and then cut something for a bit of draw and adjust the removal to your meta if that hasn't been done already.

why not add Sorin, grim nemesis to the deck? like take Gideon out and place Sorin since this is a vampire type of deck setting

I made a similar deck to this only peasant. It looks good, but are you sure about L,TLH as a finisher? Maybe replace her with Sorin, Geim Nemesis, as Aspen suggested. Your manabase looks good, I am however not sure about the mortuary mires...

I can't change it at the moment. I will when I getbthe chance. Gideon can become an Ally and he makes tokens so that's why he is in here. As for Mortuary Mires, they are to recycle lost comrades since I have rather few creatures

Yep. Was meant to be based around Cohort, but they weren't all that great....
So sad

I would really add Kalastria Healer. I played WB Allies at my local FNM for a few months and it was pretty good, but Kalastria Healer was the all-star. I would also consider a couple March from the Tomb.

I would also rather play gideon over sorin because he is cheaper and the ability to trigger rally every turn is great.

I mean yes gideon is good but sorin fits for the bw balance or just play both one for allies and one for life drain and life gain

The biggest reason Sorin is in here is so I don't get10 comments a week saying "Why isn't Sorin in here?" Both suit the deck and people can choose to use either which is why Gideon is in the SB.

If you are running WB lifegain rhox faith mender is a must have. I would advise vampire nighthawk over vampire envoy. He'll gain you more life and be more of a deterrent to attacks . Deanna's emissary is a great choice. If you can find room and way to make it work I would run sanguin bond / exquisite blood together as your finishing move. Lilliana isn't doing much for you here that I can see aside from being attack bait and killing off some small creatures. The bloodbond are solid and I have run them in my vamp deck. Something to pump the vamps like captivating vampire might work well. Sorin markov woukd also do well in this. If you are planning to play multiplayer I would sideboard in blade of selves

Hey there. I love the theme deck. I've been stuck on themes recently! haha The first thing I thought when I read your list was.....Celestial Flare? How has that been playing for you? It seems like there must be a better option for removal since hexproof isn't much of a thing right now. At least in my area of shops.

Ondu War Cleric and Kalastria Healer would be advantageous in a B/W-life gain-ally deck.
