If your Cruelties Thassa combo activates, and you don't have burn, then you'll need something to hit them

All I would really say that you need now are some dual lands and maybe some card recycling. 'Cos you'll need 10 sources of mana for Door to Nothingness to work

What would you recommend using instead of Sire of Insanity?

I also forgot to mention Krasis + Identity + Fireshrieker = DOUBLE TOKENS! YAY!
I like to look for an alternative, and a bit outside of the box

Long story short with Elusive Krasis:
Use your 1/5 Krasis to hit your opponent with unblockable to activate Stolen Identity
Artisan of Forms could help with making copies of it
Mnemonic was is used as a instant/sorcery recycler and half decent blocker
I didn't really want to use Clone though, don't know why really
As for the gates, I can change them. It was just a quick grab for dual lands to produce all of the BUG mana, and can be changed in a heart beat

I'd swap out 2 lands for Doom Blades
Kill spells are great in Grixis AND piss opponents off more than counterspells on some occasions

I see both sides but I have to agree with Funeralspoon
Yes each land is a Swamp Swamp, BUT Corrupt says "each swamp you control" meaning S-S = S
So, there is conclusive proof that you can't really rely on the internet for facts like that

Try using the enchantment Gift of Immortality with something like High Priest of Penance

Just put 2 in and maybe swap them out
Jerky combos are funny though, some days anyway

Think about this jerky combo:
Serra Avatar + Deadeye Navigator + Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
Exile Serra Avatar with Deadeye's soulbond ability and touble your life total with Trostani

Just so there's some legality to it; why not use Diabolic Tutor? It's more expensive manawise, yes, but it is legal and you're already going to have a hard time playing Phage
