Alright here is my internal debate:
- I think it's just me but I'm not a big fan of blind obediance without something to go with it like smoke, and the extort would be too slow to help me in modern.
-Children of Korlis is a good option, but to be worth it, It needs to gain me 8 life normally. Do you think it will?
-Sunspring expedition is nice cuz it's a bit cheaper, but if I don't have a land drop for the first 4 turns I may not live long enough to use it.
-perimeter captain is really nice but vunerable to creature removal. but at least it would normally take 2 spells for rdw to get rid of it.

I think I just need more play testing before I can make these decisions.

Yeah I had rebuff in there until I put Greater auromancy, I may need to add it back in or sideboard some, or some more greater auromancy. Yeah I can see that happening with reckoner, I'll just keep one in to see how he turns out. As it stands however I'm still pretty afraid of rdw's I think i need to find more room for lifegain to help me last.

That is true. It also makes it so satisfying to beat 500$ decks with your 10$ pauper.

Yes modern is fast which is why I realize this deck would need a lot of critiques to survive. I totally forgot about my chained to the rocks mountains I only added battlefield forge because It dealt damage that could be prevented by personal sanctuary. I like wall of omens too, the only thing is wall of omens doesn't stop people from swinging at me, and wall of essence does. Pyroclasm is just a really nice small creature clearer that doesn't kill my creatures and helps me survive to the late game. Grand abolisher is an awesome idea, I put it in for a bit but the problem with him is the 2 toughness. I will definitely end up killing him myself. I put him in sideboard for RDW's, since he's really nice with silence, although Idk if rest for the weary might help me survive longer against rdw's. Thanks for all the advice I made a lot of tweaks to it now. Let me know what you think of them.

300$ is a reasonably priced modern deck unfortunately lol. Greater auromancy is a good add, I considered it I just thought it was a 5 drop for some reason.

I agree with Reckoner, It should definitely be helpful. I don't think I have room for gut shot. I'll take a look at your decks when I can.

Thanks, I added some but I don't really need that much ramp with the majority of the deck being 1, 2 and 3 drops. Hooded hydra is a nice helper but he doesn't usually win games for me. I put in a whip, that should be helpful. Any suggestions on sideboard, I haven't really put a decent one together yet.

Alright took me a second to think of some good suggestions but here's what I got. You should consider running infernal plunge, I'm pretty sure you can just saccrifice the creature pyromancer makes but I can't remember so check me on that. Other than that empty the warrens could work really well in this deck. Since you could use battle hym and infernal plunge to add mana too your pool, shock yourself for gut shot, lightning bolt your opponent in the face, then drop 8 goblins.

So I would take out 1 battle hym, 1 past in flames, 1 reforge the soul, 2 molten rebirths, then add 3 infernal plunges, and 2 empty the warrens.

Looks like a really good deck. I'm trying to run a deck that works similar to this in the sense that it sits back does nothing and tries to win. Could you take a look and give me some suggestions?

I have a deck like this called battle giest if you wanna check it out. You should consider sword of kaldra, equip it to giest and its a three turn commander damage win by itself.
