Lots of combo based moves. Also, lots of ways to bring out high costing spells quickly. This consists of conserved mana, mana produced by creatures, and low costing spells and abilities.

I understand what you're going with here, but I feel like you need a lot more ramp to be able for this to work. have you play tested it?

yes. It works out great most of the time. There are a lot of combos involved, so you have to know the deck and think about what works. The combos depend on your situation also.
