Deck Description

Ok, so this deck has been through several versions to get to where it is now, most notably the inclusion of Varolz, the scar stripped. The basis for the deck is to make use of the high Power of the creatures featured within, to get maximum value out of them, whether that be by pitching them out of your hand with Lotleth Troll or making sure they don't die when they hit the battlefield after being casted from hand by using Gaea's anthem (I'm looking at you Force of savagery).

If the creatures do die or are pitched with Lotleth Troll, or the opponent decides to take 4 damage instead of letting vexing devil live, then with Kresh the Bloodbraided in play, he will get however many +1 +1 is equal to their Power (and double that if Corpsejack menance is in play!).

Once in the graveyard, Varolz can then take advantage of the creatures high toughness to CMC ratio and scavenge them to boost the number of counters on anything in play (again doubled with Corpsejack Menance in play).

If playing against a deck that isn't too aggressive, or in multiplayer, then stalking vengeance can be main boarded to get even more value out of these interactions by flinging direct damage from his triggered ability. Disciple of bolas and Rite of consumption can be used to sac anything that gets big and either draw cards or flings damage and gains life.

Also, if you want to make this deck Modern legal, just replace Spiritmonger with either Stalking vengeance or some more removal, depending on your meta group.

How to Play

Ok so ideally the game would go something like this:
T1: Forrest Experiment one
T2: Swamp, play Lotleth Troll and pitch force of savagery into graveyard along with Vexing devil. Lotleth troll is now 4/3 and Experiment one is now 2/2 and swings for 2.
T3: Forest or swamp, play Varolz and swing with Lotleth Troll and Experiment one for 5.
T4: Pay 1 to scavenge Vexing devil and make Lotleth Troll get +4 +4 and scavenge force of savagery to give him +8 +8. Swing with Lotleth Troll for 16 Trample damage. This is just an example early game but this deck has tonnes of fun and varied ways to abuse counters.
