Deck Description

So, the basic idea with this deck as you can probably see is to duress turn 1, or play your early game blockers. Once you have done this, it's now time to disrupt your opponent by either countering, returning to hand or destroying whatever threat they put down early game.

Mid game you should have a fairly clear board staring at you from your opponents side, and if they do have anything nasty then there's removal and other instant/enchantments to deal with it. Then you should draw into either phanax, ashiok or lavaz, and from there if you can protect them from removal or damage with your blockers and counter spells etc, then it should be game after a few turns with your mill abilities.

Suggestions for this are obviously welcome as it has only been play tested a few times. It has played modern decks as well as standard and it has come out pretty well in both instances though.

Deck discussion for It's Miller Time

Ok I've made a couple of changes to this, dropping doom blade and bringing in 2x death's approach and 2x grisly spectacle. I thought these fitted the theme synergy wise much better, and assuming that my opponent has discarded some cards, should work out better in most instances.
