i dont think this deck is ready for tournament play. there doesnt seem to be any real stragedy in this, and apart from creatures like birds of paradise and llanowar elves, youre not gonna have any creatures out for some turns which is gonna leave you exposed

buried alive i thought of using, but as far as the dragons go, that really isnt what i had in mind and i dont really see how it works particularly well with any of this deck, but thanks for the tip anyway
if you add some life generating cards to your deck you could use Channel (GG) which allows you to add 1 colourless mana to your mana pool at the cost of one life until end of turn. that might speed things up a bit. dark depths is one of those crazy cool cards, and there is even an actual Marit Lage token:)
if your deck is based around spellweaver volute, you should get 2 more for your deck
boring but no doubt effective. against a single meddling mage though, youre fucked
ive always liked the 0 cost artifact and all the possibilities with them, but despite considering myself a reasonable magic player, i havent exactly figure out how you would win so quickly with the deck. please explain
get rid of cadaverous bloom, cause by the time you have the 5 mana to play it, youll have about enough to play any of your other cards
you know, you can just say x4 instead of writing out the card name four times
i always loved those big green creatures, but they do have a downside - their cost! you should consider getting some more small creatures in, possibly mana generating ones like llanowar elves so you can get your big creatures out quicker. keep that in mind or you might get overrun by your opponent if he has some form of token generation or lots of small creatures
yeah enlightened tutor i already thought about, this deck is just the actual one thats sitting on my desk at the moment - physically speaking, but youre right there are many cards that search for enchantments that would work here, thanks
itll just take some time to get enough creatures out, otherwise its fine
i think this shows you cant base a deck on Symphony X
you might destroy their lands, but how do you plan on winning?
yep just saw wall of steel yesterday and thought the same, and just checked out wall of nets, its great! thanks for the advice
i made a 'wall deck' some time ago - check it out and/or my other decks, see what you think, i loved wall of ice in this type of deck btw!
why are empyrial arch angel and angel's herald in here? you neither have the mana to play empyrial arch angel or the creatures to sacrifice in order to play it.. also, like i suspected with this angel theme deck, youre gonna be overrun by the time you get one decent creature out ie by around turn 6-7
this could be a 3 colour deck instead, that would make it more reliable i think
even with all the affinity, itll take along time before you can get creatures out that will do significant damage..i guess youll just have to assign blockers for quite a few rounds..but youre right about the wrath of god or damnation..the thing is, they both have a casting cost of 4 and by turn 4 you still wont have any good creatures down, so ..i dont know..i like all the cheap creatures but its kind of a one stragedy deck
great deck! with gilder bairn, if ive understood its rules correctly you only need to have 10 charge counters on darksteel reactor cause gilder bairn will double the amount. also ive never seen paradox haze before but thats a great card! so many cards have abilities that trigger during your upkeep and it means you can get 2 charge counters out of energy chamber in one turn. feel free to check out some of my decks as well, but again, nice job on this one!
mirrorweave with nemesis of reason would be a great combo if you have even just 3-4 creatures out, but im sure youre aware of that already. but yeah good deck aside from that combo as well
