Naturalize is the perfect choice for a Type 2 deck, but this is aimed at being a Legacy deck, meaning that there are spells at equal cost to Naturalize that have additional benefits, like Smash to Smithereens.

So, after more research, looks like Gorilla Shaman is a pimp in this deck. 4x copies of Gorilla Shaman in, Viashino Heretic out.

I've been tinkering with the deck, trying to speed up the destruction. I took out Hoard Smelter Dragon as it's just too slow to do any damage. Replaced it with Viridian Shaman and Manic Vandal and added back in Tanglewalker to do the dirty work with the smaller creatures.

Also added Tel-Jilad Justice and lowered the number of Roiling Terrains in order to try to help the combos along.

So, after a few playtests, I was having trouble getting more than one artifact out on the battlefield. So, I took out a couple of destroy artifact spells and added in some voltaic keys so that if I do only get one out, I can use it twice.

I also added some straight land destruction spells and creatures (Pillage and Orcish Settlers, respectively) to aid in the land destruction of the deck.

The deck just straight up wasn't fast enough to do any major damage before my opponent stacked his battlefield. I'll continue to playtest this deck and update it accordingly on here.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. More!

This deck isn't legal yet. You need 60 cards.

But I LOVE this combo. It's become an instant favorite. Kudos to DedWards (or his friend :p)

Have you played this deck? Does it actually work? Relying almost entirely on Quest for Ula's Temple seems like a small-percentage play. Plus, you have to wait 3 or more turns for it to take effect.

You're absolutely right. How did I miss that?

There is still enough land-destroy combos in the deck that Roiling Terrain will sting the opponent.

Good catch! I'll edit the description.

It's an really awesome combo. Untapped potential with Roiling Terrain in your deck, though. Your deck also had more straight land destroy spells in it, which probably results in an all-around stronger deck. My deck relies almost completely on Liquimetal and Myr Landshaper.

Look at it as paying homage. :)

Overall, though, I like the direction of the deck, especially with Knight Exemplar. Gotta exploit the Indestructability, though. More Zombie Knight creature types!
