This started out as my elf deck WAY back in the Onslaught days. I've recently decided to update and rearrange it in order to better take advantage of the insane amounts of mana this thing is capable of producing, and to help shut up the friends who refuse to let me play this deck. Build an army of tiny little elves to make mana with Heritage Druid or a leveled up Joraga Treespeaker, then plop a fat hydra on the table. Bramblewood Paragon ensures your big nasties have trample. Slate of Ancestry and Enshrined Memories help cycle the deck. (I've played every card in the deck, except lands, by turn 5 before. Silliness.) The sideboard is mostly for when you know what you'll be facing. Braids-style creature sacrifice is quite effective against this early, hence the Tajuru Preserver. Gaea's Herald is a must, but has been outlawed for me. Imperious Perfect and Elvish Champion would make the deck more elf-tribal focused, and Helix Pinnacle is just plain funny. Before you even get started telling me a deck should be 60 cards, believe me, I know. I get it. That's cool. I just like having slightly more land. It seems to work better for me.
