The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
This is a deck idea I got from reading one from RyoUnleahsed. There are plenty of ways to make this combo far more feasible, but I wanted to demonstrate just how awesome it could be if Lady Luck was your bitch. Play Soul's Fire when you have Charnelhoard Wurm (with Arcane Teachings) and Vigor out. Target the Wurm with the the Fire and the damage. The damage is prevented, the Wurm get's bigger. Tap the Wurm to shoot an opponent and the Soul's Fire comes back. Cool. How do I repeat this process? With Aluren and Gemstone Array on table, attach Umbral Mantle to the Wurm. Play Grinning Ignus and use its ability over and over to create infinite mana. Use said mana to stack charge counters on the Array so that you can play Soul's Fire and use Umbral Mantle infinitely. WOO! Now that that's over with and you have a huge Wurm (hehe), either attack (trample rocks) or play Soul's Fire one last time. Because this combo (I use the term loosely) is SOOO complicated, I included Maralen of the Mornsong to allow you to search the library, Cloudstone Curio to return her to your hand before you die, and Entomb if you want to spout off with an early Soul's Fire to give them a taste of what's (hopefully) to come.

How does Grinning Ignus create infinite mana?

very cool combo. Not enough protection for it. You'll win the first game 100% of the time because nobody will have any idea what you're doing but you'll never win again after that if you can't defend your combo.
He costs 3, so alluren kicks in making him free to play. Then you basically constantly tap one mana for 3 mana.
Oh, I realize fully how quickly I can be shut down. I might play a game or two with this set up just for hilarity's sake, then dull it down a bit (if I even keep it together at all). This one is as casual as it gets. xeroax hit the nail on the head.
No problem for the idea. But i'm gonna make one up to. Be sure to check it out when i get it finished.
I sure will.
you know. if you put in the artifact mage slasher. Wouldnt that do damage twice? so you could bring 2 cards back in. Souls fire is an instant. So you could do it 2 times a turn. plus the others. to get you off the ground.
Well, that's assuming that it gets through. I guess the combo would be simpler with Mage Slayer and Whispersilk Cloak.
