Deck Description

Oh my! Looks like I've just breached my own rule again. This time round Modern Format didn't quite cut it. It's Legacy now!

How to Play

I think... With the help of Necropolis Regent, we'll love to stab our opponents as often as possible and as many times too, don't we?

CREATURES

The BOSSES

Necropolis Regent - When a creature you control deals damage to a player, it gets that many +1/+1 counters... Oh you see where this is Going?!

Stronghold Overseer - Flying and Shadow, {B}{B} for +1/+0 on all shadow creatures and -1/-0 on all non-Shadow creatures. This ability is spammable!!!!

THE SHADOWS.....

Dauthi Ghoul - 2 drop for a 1/1, it gets a +1/+1 counter whenever a shadow creature dies!!

Dauthi Horror - 2 drop for a 2/1, can't be blocked by white creatures. (With shadow, there are less than 5 creatures in the entire database)

Dauthi Slayer - 2 drop for a 2/2, can't stop attacking whenever possible!!!

Dauthi Warlord - 2 drop that has its power equivalent to the number of shadow creatures in play, pretty devastating I must say!. (As suggested by seton)

Tormented Soul - 1 drop, can't block but is unblockable

ALRIGHT! So the point of these Shadow creatures is that they can't block non-shadows and are unblockable unless by a fellow shadow creature.
With the help of Necropolis Regent, their growth will be doubled each turn unless of course if shit happens... (Removal, bounced, countered, tapped, prevented, exiled)

ENCHANTMENTS!!

Horror of Horrors - 5 drop enchantment, sacrifice a swamp, regen target black creature!!

Underworld Connections - Yes yes... blah blah blah.. I know but I love this card, love the flavor, the name and the art... And what it does... DRAW AWAY!!!

SORCERY

Sign in Blood - Another of my good old friend... 2 life for 2 cards. Worth it.

Deck discussion for Necropolis's Shadows

What a stupid fun deck. Nice way to break the Necropolis. Good job.

Hohoho!

It's not that hard to gain counters now huh?! Haha!
Feel free to add Corpsejack for more menace! (See what I did there?! LOL)

I think, this is not bad idea, but can be much better. In legacy, this is useless and slow. add dark rituals to put creature early, diabolic edict, because if someone put darksteel colosus or something stronger, you are out of game...and with oath and ect. is very quick.... Hmmm, no, this will have no chance in legacy format :(. And...there are lots of black shadows, that are sooo much better then you use. for example Dauthi Warlord,Dauthi Mercenary,Dauthi Marauder,Nether Traitor........

My good sir~ I suppose Dauthi Warlord would be a nice addition.
Oh, I ain't comfortable with Legacy I must say, all my recipes have been built along the line of Modern Format
Also, with my other two rule of thumb 'BUDGET' and 'FLAVOR', I can't afford to step too far away with an adventurous spirit.

I don't suppose I play in the competitive field either, in gameplay I strive for longer matches with twist and turns, speed isn't my concern and well... some of my decks that swings that way has been stabilized to run longer. Unfortunately this one is an experiment as to how well would Regent group up with Shadows.
But I do appreciate your time for evaluation.
