I happened to read up on a section of Mtgsalvation.
They described Green as a crude enemy of Artifacts. So I wondered, what if I merge two into one deck? Just like I did for Chill OR Burn (my blue/red ice/fire deck)
So this is a little challenge for me (drained my brain juice since the entire list of Artifacts provided by Magiccards.info shows 829 Artifacts)
Thanks to Mirrodin, Green and Artifact can somehow... Join hands.
While watching one of the Eminem interviews, there was one line that struck some sense into me. (Paraphrasing) "It gets me mad when someone tells me Orange don't rhyme with anything".
It kinda gets me mad to read the part that says Green detest Artifacts. So I'mma make the two elements join hands. I'mma make a piece of Iron Ore grow Chrysanthemum!
CREATURES
Copper Myr - It's an Artifact, but it produces Green Mana. Take that Anti-GreenArtifact Cultists!
Darksteel Sentinent - Got a problem in your way? Need a 24/7 bodyguard that doesn't run low on battery and is infinitely durable? (Except when succumbed to Tragic Slip or Infect; Warranty not included for those damages) We've got the 3/3 Vigilance, Flash and Indestructible for 6 drop!
Essence Warden - She also hangs out with my Cleric Deck, but now she's got a new task, treat Artifact creatures as fellow Nature beings and heal me for 1 life!
Fangren Marauder - With all these Artifacts dying, if you care enough for a healing, make a better play for you and for me (MJ Spinoff). With each Artifact dead, you gain 5 life. Wooooh! *Hint: Look out for combo with Well of Lost Dreams*
Lifesmith - Hold it right there! Artifacts gives this man the inspiration to heal, but you gotta pay him 1 mana.
Pentavus - Detaching and Attaching, all those little critters bring so much joy for Essence Warden and Leyline of Vitality! Which in contribution empowers your draw rate when Well of Lost Dreams picks up their joy.
Shimmer Myr - Most myrs look as if they lay around all day chilling like a stainless sloth, but Shimmer Myr breaks away from conformity! It runs! And it encourages his friends to run! Even the non-animated artifacts like Cage Sun starts coming down with Flash! What has the world gone to?!
Tangle Golem - As lifesmith showed love to the colourless community, Tangle Golem does the same for Green. It loves Forest, it hangs around with squirrels, flowers and unicorns, thus giving it affinity with them over them.
Wall of Tanglecord - No! You shall not pass! not even the Tyranish Hellkite Tyrant can break this 0/6 wall! It blocks well, but look out for Naturalize, because there are quite a handful of them Green Mages out there who seek to disturb the racial harmony between Green and Artifacts.
NON-CREATURE ARTIFACTS (Better off known as Toys)
Blinkmoth Urn - 5 drop that produces {1} for each artifact you control during your pre-combat main phase. (Only if it's untapped). Now that gets me mad! Why would someone tap a non-creature artifact? That's like arresting an infant for wanting to share his toy plane with you!!
Caged Sun - Mono Green, The Sun, Photosynthesis, ?????, Profit.
Horizon Spellbomb - Search the land! Draw a Card! all for 3 mana, can be paid with 1 mana deposit and 2 mana instant transaction.
Pristine Talisman - Since we're gaining life, why not gain more? It won't hurt right? Not till your opponent plays Rain of Gore.
Sands of Delirium - Tap {X}, Mill {X}. With all that extra mana from Copper Myr, Blinkmoth Urn, Pristine Talisman and Caged Sun's pimpin'. Do you have anywhere else to spend your mana?? (Pfft... Talk about Green Milling being impossible)
Well of Lost Dreams - Another way to spend your excess mana (ONLY IF YOU GAIN LIFE). Pay {X} where {X} is the amount of life you gain or less, DRAW THAT MUCH CARD.
ENCHANTMENT
It was also stated that Green hates Enchantments because they prefer the way of the pure, the natural way or whatever they will to deny the fact that Enchantment is inevitably in their lives.
Helix Pinnacle - 1 drop for an EXPRESS STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN!!!! (Donate your Excess mana here, please, spare a thought for alternate Victory)
Leyline of Vitality - Need to hit the gym? Why not just sit next to a big fat tree with glowing roots? It does the same job! 4 drop that can become a 0 drop with flash if found in your opening hand. Creatures you control get a small boost of +0/+1, and creatures entering the field gives you 1 life. *Well of Lost Dreams APPROVES THIS CARD*
