Good idea! Thanks!
Tainted strike can be useful if your playing a non-infect opponent. If you need a turn or two more to finish off the opponent and they're about to hit you with they're strongest creature. You can pop tainted strike on him and he'll just give you poison counters instead of life damage, buying you one or two more turns to finish them off. Obviously if your opponent is running an infect or deck with heavy proliferate, this could be an unwise decision.
40 is the minimum for booster draft games. 60 is the minimum for standard legal games (FNM, and tournaments and such).
I'm actually building an infect deck as well, you should switch that rot farm out for a few Verdant Catacombs (So your deck can be standard!) and switch Llanowar Elves for Birds of Paradise! Otherwise good build!
Why are all of your cards in your sideboard?
I like it! No Grafted Exoskeleton though? That would be tight on Perilous Myr. If you equip him with GE, when he dies, HE does the damage to a creature or player, which would still be Infect damage. So by equipping him and him dying you can put 2 counters on your opponent easy!
