I'd drop the Summoner's Bane for Turn to Frog. A 2 drop instant like that can serve removal purposes, while a 4 drop counter spell, at least in my experience, is hard to pull off. On a similar note, I'd throw in more redirects. Let's face it: your illusions can be killed with stuff as piddly as an Unsummon or a Dispatch. Two more redirects instead of the ponders may protect you. Lastly, I'd add spellskite: for U or 2 life, you can protect your illusions when the Lord of the Unreal is absent. You could (and I wouldn't recommend this) try Birthing Pod as a way to help get lord of the unreal out.

If you're doing bloodthirst burn, then Goblin Fireslingers is amazing since he can ensure your bloodthirst triggers. Then Stormblood Berserker has a potential to be an easy 3/3 on turn 2.

I play a guy with this sort of deck; I find that Plague Sliver works great to kill him.
I changed around some stuff, but what were you thinking for removal? Just, like, oblivion rings?
What do you do if they drop a marrow shards? Leaving you with no creatures, no hand.
What if you took away some of the defensive or removal cards, and added (fewer) Blinding Souleater for removal, and Blade Splicer (the artwork and the idea fits with Elesh Norn's theme)? Plus, the splicer would give this deck a little much-needed offensive capability. If you're then feeling extra lenient, Rusted Relics can complete the offensive ability.
How would you play this deck?
Fantastic deck. I'm in the process of making a bant deck, and I love the combos of exalted you have here. As a random suggestion, you could slip in Meekstone, from back in the 7th edition days; this would prevent his guys from untapping, while yours (since they're mostly 2/2s until they attack) would be fine.
I think this is a fantastic concept; the manabarbs and related items work very well together, I think. However, it seems like the creature half is a little weak, and you're a little hosed if you don't get manabarb or if you don't get red mana. So, I'd scrap the proliferate artifacts, and go for something more robust. Consider: you already have the red and white, so you could get Stun Snipers, Heathrow Hobgoblins, and Boros Swiftblades. Or, consider: instead of trying to protect yourself from the manabarbs, try to beat it. Keep the chalice, but also add 4 golden myrs and 4 iron myrs. Then get a lot of things with metalcraft, like Rusted Relic, Dispense Justice, Ardent Recruit, and Ghalma's Warden.
This deck is constrained by what I have and what I care to spend; it's not tourney quality really, I just play with my friends. Any suggestions?
I cut down the 5 drops and cut out some mana. Looks good to me now.
Replace Beast of Burden with Keldon Warlord. Same thing, only Keldon is a 4 drop.
Goblin War Drums?
I'd like to cut down on the cards in this deck, I think. I also want to increase the deck's ability to do damage.
I'd sub in Wings of Aesthir or Wings of Hope instead of Steel of the Godhead. The Godhead is nice, though. Bant Sureblade might be nice here, too.
Sorceries can't be cast during the upkeep phase, so Red Sun's Zenith and banefire won't key with the braid of fire well. Heat Ray, Comet Storm, and Volcanic Geyser are good substitutes, as they're instants so it's able to work with braid of fire.
You know that Braid of Fire can't be used to summon creatures, right? It adds mana which clears at the end of the upkeep stage.
This is a fantastic deck, imo! I particularly enjoy Ghostway; seems like you'd basically get to re-do all the benefits of summoning the allies again. Same with Mimic Vat; very solid.
BAMF deck. Super fast. kinda cheap. Likes to do ungodly amounts of damage if a creature with double strike gets past.
